GAPP in Georgia: who does what

Several groups touch a GAPP case. Knowing who handles what tells you who to call.

Short answerIn Georgia, the Department of Community Health runs GAPP and pays for it. DFCS decides whether your child has Medicaid. Alliant Health Solutions reviews and approves the hours. A Medicaid-enrolled nursing agency files the request and provides the care.
